The ACT-AI Academy project held its official kick-off meeting on 23–24 June 2025 at Frederick University in Nicosia, bringing together all project partners to align on shared objectives, roles, and next steps.
The two-day event opened with a welcome session and a comprehensive overview of the project’s goals, work packages, and overall timeline, followed by partner introductions in which each organisation presented its expertise and intended contribution to the initiative.
Discussions throughout the meeting centred on the development of the ACT-AI conceptual framework (WP2), including the establishment of thematic Working Groups, as well as the design of a modular teacher training programme (WP3) and an initial concept for the project’s digital learning environment (WP4).
Partners also took part in collaborative Working Group planning sessions and presentations, advancing the implementation strategy for training activities (WP5), international networking and exchange (WP6), and dissemination and policy impact (WP7). The kick-off meeting laid a strong foundation for collaboration among partners, setting the stage for the successful implementation of the ACT-AI Academy project in the months ahead.
